The Jammers 2012 - shrnutí turnaje

První červnový víkend se kromě českého turnaje FFFF (jehož shrnutí čekejte brzy) odehrál také významný event za velkou louží. Konkrétně to byl turnaj The Jammers, který každoročně pořádá Paul Kenny na floridské pláži, přímo před svým domem :) Díky tropické bouři Beryl, která pobřeží zasáhla v sobotu, se celý turnaj přesunul na neděli, tedy na World Gitis Day. Podmínky byly takřka ideální, což se pozitivně projevilo na sportovních výkonech. Jednotlivé rutiny si můžete prohlédnout pod textem. Thanks to everyone showing up! We had 10 open teams (pairs and coop combined) and 4 mixed teams. A number of other jammers just jammed. This was the largest Jammers turnout ever. A bunch of newcomers came out, Suzanne, Cuqui, Bilbs, some dude on the internet, Emma, and Ryan. Hopefully there was enough good stuff to bring them back! Thanks to the Florida gang,  Isle of Palms regulars and theOrange Beach shredders!

We had some weird west wind that was aftermath of Tropical Storm Beryl (gitis). Amazingly, it broke down for Sunday and fortuitously, we moved the event to Sunday, Gitis Day, with amazing results. EVERYONE shredded. Any of the mixed teams might have won and 5 or 6 of the open teams had a shot.
